Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for Parents 

Who is suitable to attend?

Parents or Caregivers with special need child who are interested in evidence based mindfulness- approach program that supports participants to work on their day-to-day stress, or simply better mental and emotional wellness. Mindful Parenting program will be offered after the 8-week MBSR program.

What is the course structure and commitment?

You must be willing to make a strong commitment to attend all classes and to practice daily home

assignments for eight weeks.
The MBSR program consists of 10 sessions:
1 Orientation Class, 2 hours (required)
8 Weekly Classes, between 2.5 to 3.5 hours hours each lesson

1 All-Day Retreat, 8 hours

1st day - 7pm to 9pm : Orientation (Required)

2nd day - 7pm to 10pm : Lesson 1
3rd to 9th day - 7pm to 930pm : Lesson 2-7

10th day - 9.30am to 5.30pm : All Day Retreat

11th day - 7pm to 1030pm : Lesson 8


Participants are able to commit to all the dates for orientation, weekly class and all-day retreat. Certificate of Completion will be presented to participants who attended ALL the 10 sessions.
